Dillingham released

Postby Nick C on Thu Aug 09, 2007 7:17 pm

Bill Womacks "Dillingham" has been released for FSX. This lovely quiet field resides in Hawaii and makes a good base to explore the island.

If you click the following image you'll also see how well Bills scenery fits in with MegaScenery Hawaii, which is a relief as I purchased the former when I heard Bill was working on Dillingham!

They went a little "Got" crazy over there in Hawaii after the big "Got Milk?" ad campaign. I swear, you can't swing a dried-out lei without hitting a bumper sticker that says "Got Poi?", or a "Got Spam?" t-shirt. I guess some genius thought they could advertise their hangar space the Hawaiian way. Here's a fun shot, btw... look familiar?

Well, it looks so good and interesting that I went ahead with the order. I absolutely love this scenery!

When I were a kid, we'd go round on our bikes, and grab the backs of buses for a free ride. I'm sure that guy on the bile is eyeing up the bizjet and thinking "if I could grab that...."

Shame Hawaii is so far frm my normal flying areas. You couldn't dig it up and plonk it somewhere in the mddle of the English Channel, I suppose?

It took a lot of effort to get that "just right" ,I guess.
But it is!

How long should it take my order to process? I have the paypal receipt but the d/l page still says pending.
It's been at least 30 minutes and I'm itching to get going :|
